Who we are
Fidel Miranda has been building in Dallas–Fort Worth since 2005, first in the trades and then running his own crews. Today he leads the field for Fidel Miranda General Contractor, LLC: he walks the job, sets the sequence, runs the crews and is on site while the work is being built. If something is not right, he is the one who sees it before you do.
Ben Grisel is our projects executive. He handles preconstruction, scopes and bids, and client communication — the estimate you receive, the schedule you are working to, and the answer when you call. Between the two of them, there is always someone who knows both what was promised and what is happening on site today.
How we work
We inspect within 24 to 48 hours of your call, and we put an itemized bid in front of you after the walk. Once work starts, you get a private project portal with photos, the current schedule, open items and approved changes, so you are not waiting on a phone call to know where things stand.
We keep the site clean, we price changes in writing before the work happens, and we quote straight — the number on the bid is the number we build to unless the scope changes and you approve it.
Insurance work
A lot of our roofing and restoration work involves an insurance claim, so it is worth being clear about what we do. We inspect the property, document the damage with dated photographs and measurements, meet your adjuster on site, and provide a detailed scope and itemized estimate of the full repair.
We do not negotiate your claim and we do not act as your adjuster — Texas law does not allow a contractor to do either. We also cannot waive, absorb or rebate your deductible; Texas law prohibits it, and anyone offering otherwise is offering you a problem. What we can do is make sure the full scope of damage is documented and priced accurately.
